elements of reality 2014
'Elements of reality' extends my site specific installation from the Experimentations exhibition November 2013. It will be on show at Courtyard Arts, Hertford until March the 29th.
"If, without in any way disturbing a system, we can predict with certainty (i.e., with probability equal to unity) the value of a physical quantity, then there exists an element of reality corresponding to that quantity."
Einstein, Podolsky and Rosen, 1935.
Quantum physics, however, tells us that elements of reality do not always exist. At its smallest, Nature is fundamentally blurry and random.
Elements of reality, simultaneously trickling up and down the wall. Emerging and decaying from the corners of the space.
